Experiments

ActivStats offers experiments that students can administer to themselves or to others. The first experiment compares the ability to accurately read a pie chart with the ability to accurately read a split bar chart. The data collected are analyzed both in expositions and in homework exercises. Other experiments can be conducted with alternative settings of the applet.
