Central Limit Theorem ActivStats
students discover the Central Limit Theorem for themselves by
investigating the behavior of means of samples from a variety of
distributions. As in other ActivStats Teaching Applets, random samples
are drawn visibly in a truly random manner. Animation shows where each
value goes and how means are found and added to the growing sampling
distribution. Such simulations are much easier to follow and understand
than "black box" pseudorandom samples.
